When can a certificate be issued?
Once the vehicle successfully passes through the inspection for roadworthiness, then the RWC is issued to the vehicle owner.
What happens if the vehicle fails the inspection test?
During the inspection, if any part of the vehicle is unable to meet the standards as per the vicroads RWC testers, then a rejection report is issued for that particular object. You will be given a two week’s time to repair the faulty part and apply for the second round of inspection for your vehicle. On failing to fix the part within the stipulated time, then the inspection will be done from scratch again.
